Our company based in Meadowdale is looking for a maintenance manager to manage, grow and oversee our property maintenance division throughout the Gauteng region. This individual must be highly motivated with a very strong traceable background in the property maintenance Industry. This individual will have to create sales by doing site visits, identifying property maintenance issues, and then compiling reports, costings, and proposals with estimates to present to the client. Cold call sales, Tender Processes, Networking & Corporate invites. From 1st contact through to site establishment and handover to maintenance teams, allocating, delegating, and managing of maintenance work being undertaken by teams from start to final client sign-off of work project.
Brief overview of expected duties:
· Site visits & identifying property maintenance issues.
· Drafting of detailed reports on findings on site.
· Drafting of costings on projects (BOQ), calculating labour and all associated costs pertaining to project.
· Allocating project to correct teams to execute the project.
· Daily site visits to ensure Maintenance teams are delivering quality work on each project.
· Snag list (Punch List) compiling on projects.
· Attending Tender invites (Government & Corporate)
· Meeting with clients (During & After business hours)
· Identify areas to increase growth and profitability.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and growth plans.
Minimum Requirements:
· Property Maintenance (Handyman minimum) or equivalent qualifications.
· Previous Maintenance experience – proven hands-on track record will be essential.
· At least 10 years’ experience in property maintenance in a similar position.
· Fully Bilingual.
· Excellent Verbal and Written communication
· Full competence in the use and application of the MS Office suite programs. (This will be tested)
· Must always be professional and well presented.
· Own Reliable Transport to report to office. Company vehicle only used during business hours.
