We are looking for a skilled and proactive Diesel Technician to support the Workshop Foreman, manage work tasks efficiently, mentor apprentices, and ensure high-quality performance in line with company standards. The role involves supporting the Workshop Foreman by maintaining strong internal relationships and ensuring efficient management of work tasks.Responsibilities include: Accurately recording hours worked, lubricants, parts, and consumables on job cards, adhering to company standards, and ensuring high-quality performance. The role also requires participation in training, mentoring apprentices, managing Health and Safety compliance, and promoting a productive, positive working environment.Additionally, responsibilities include managing breakdowns professionally, maintaining company tools and assets, and ensuring effective communication with the workshop manager.Requirements: Matric or higher Diesel Trade qualification Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role Code 14 license with PDP Electrical experience is advantageous Attributes: Physically fit, proactive, and confident Strong attention to detail and communication skills Technical expertise with good documentation skills SECTOR: Automotive
