Qualifications / Requirements:
• Matric
• 1 to 2 years experience in warehouse environment
• Communication skills
• Numeracy
• Good general warehouse practice
• Planning skills
• Time management skills
• Interpersonal skills
Key Performance Areas:
• Check own shelves and ensure that all are stocked accordingly with correct items
• Assemble orders according to the picking slip received
• Check labels, dated sheets, damages and description of items
• Continuously stock shelf when gaps develop after items have been picked
• Unpack open stock
• Check for missing items, short dated, queries on invoices to the Supervisor
• Assist in assembling urgent calling orders
• Participate in weekly/annual stock take
• Liaise with Checkers on adjustments to orders
• Perform routine general housekeeping
