Requirements:
- BTech in Engineering preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
- Advantageous: Project management qualification and Certified Energy Manager certification.
- 8 years in Energy management/Manufacturing environment.
- Experience with all Machinery in a manufacturing plant would be advantageous.
- Thorough knowledge of OHS Act.
- Proficient in computer usage (Excel, Word, Power-point).
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership and project management skills.
- Impeccable attendance and disciplinary records.
- Active Project Team Member.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Development, implementation of the energy management system according to DIN ISO 50001 including documentation (procedure, etc.)
- Participation in the definition of new energy-related corporate goals and the program of actions.
- Co-ordination of the local energy projects.
- Preparation and implementation of internal energy audits.
- Cooperation with the company Group Coordinator Energy Management.
- Assessment of legal requirements - monitoring processes of compliance.
- Advisory function to relevant departments.
- Daily monitoring of the energy consumption data acquisition system.
- Localization and elimination of malfunctions and errors in hardware and software.
