Requirements:

• Grade 12.
• Computer literate – MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Working experience in Cold stores will be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that allocation of pallets to rooms is done intelligently to minimize handling and costs.
• Manage and minimize damages and related costs.
• Ensure that load-outs are prepared and executed within specification and in good time.
• Maintenance of the cold chain.
• Oversee PPECB & DAFF inspections.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to manage a team of people and equipment.
• Ability to forecast and plan ahead.
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Available to work overtime when required.
• Hands on and interactive management style approach.
