The successful applicants will be responsible for, but not limited to the Tackle servicing functions within the Rolling Mill Department. RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:To assist with housekeeping in the Tackle Shop Section of the Rolling Mill:Cleaning of the floor areasCleaning and lubricating of tackle bearingsFit and assemble mechanical parts pertaining to the Tackle and Twist boxesUse measuring equipment to test and inspect machined parts used for the Tackle and Twist boxesDo daily and weekly inventory checks to ensure all the stock items are kept up to dateDescaling of Tackle and quencher boxesTo ensure tools are always clean and placed in its correct place of storageOperating basic tackle shop equipment, such as grinder, drills, and impact wrenchesAssisting with Ad hoc dutiesAdhere to health and safety regulations and instructions and advise the responsible person whenever there are risks identified QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTSA minimum Grade 12 certificateQUALIFYING ATTRIBUTESAbility to work in a team environmentAble to work independentlyWillingness to work overtime as per operational requirements if and when requiredAbility to work under challenging physical and climatic conditionsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to function efficiently in pressurized work situationsIn good health and physically fitMust be of sober habits Please note that the successful candidate will receive a formal, written offer of employment after all applicable pre-employment checks have been completed.
