Minimum requirements for the role:A tertiary qualification in either chemistry or chemical engineering or environmental science, or a related field is preferred but not essential.Previous experience having worked within the water treatment or related industry is essential for the role.Previous experience having worked in a managerial role is preferred but not essential as long as the person has the ability to drive and lead a team of sales and service staff.Previous experience having worked within the boiler and cooling, potable; clarification; effluent, and related water industries is pref.Demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary sales teams and achieving sales targets.Technical knowledge of water treatment processes, chemistry, and equipment (boiler, cooling, wastewater, reverse osmosis, etc.).Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Managing and driving a sales and technical team at customer sites within the industrial, municipal, commercial, and institutional water treatment markets, ensuring that the company achieves the revenue, profitability, and market share objectives aligned with the companys portfolio of water treatment chemistry, design, and equipment offerings.Preparing and achieving regional sales budgets.
