bilingual in English and conversational Afrikaans is essential due to the
client base Responsibilities:Liaise
with Accounts, Procurement / Logistics & Sales departmentProvide
regular reporting and assist Sales Manager/Director as requiredAssisting
the logistics agentLiaising
with shipping lines / freight forwarder and shipping line with regards to
loadings, bookings and relevant documentsEnsuring
on-time receipt of export documentationCommunication,
rate negotiations, invoice checking and approval with shipping lines, freight
forwarders (national and cross trade), PPECB, department of agriculture,
transporters.Container
loading schedule and monitoring from booking to reception at port of deliveryReporting
and statistics (shipment report, export report, shipment statistic, export
statistics)Assisting
the procurement agentCheck
availability and packing programs of fruit at farms and cooperativesMaintain
good relationships with suppliers / farmersNegotiate
prices and payments under the guidance of the Director / GMOversee
physical transfer of goods and logistics arrangements for stock movements /
Oversee loadings at depotsKeeping
/ coordinating request from sales and communicating on availability / time
frame to load requested ordersAssisting
the manager to do market research and implementation
