A vacancy for a Laundry Manager exists in the Montana Laundries (Inland) branch based at Mediclinic Emfuleni, 97 Jan Van Riebeeck Blvd, Vanderbijl Park, Gauteng. To start on the 25th June 2025 QUALIFICATIONS and Salary Package -· Minimum gr 12 · R12500.00 per month, Cell Phone allowance, and Provident FundEXPERIENCE REQUIRED· A minimum of 2 years of middle management experience in a production/services-related field JOB COMPETENCIES REQUIRED· Understanding of the laundry/production process · In-depth understanding, knowledge and experience in the different audit processes in a healthcare environment COHSASA, MQAT, ISO 14001, Office of Health Standards Compliance and SANS10146, etc. · Understanding of labor relations, grievance and disciplinary procedures and the ability to expedite relevant actions/measures· Ability to effectively and efficiently manage the day-to-day business, staff and operations in the laundry effectively· Ability to effectively and efficiently manage customer relations· Ability to plan, lead, organize and control staff and resources · Ability to effectively and efficiently measure and manage the productivity and the operating costs of all areas under his / her control· Ability to analyze, optimize and improve the overall performance of the equipment, staff and production processes · Ability to identify equipment/machine-related problems and ensure appropriate actions are taken· Ability to provide leadership/coaching/guidance/mentoring to ensure departmental and individual activities are aligned with the goal and objectives of the branch and overall business strategy· Ability to compile, distribute and submit all relevant reports as and when required· Ability to monitor and maintain stock levels regularly as and when required· Ability to effectively manage the performance of staff including the discipline staff when required· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English both in verbally and in writing · Proficient computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and company-related software system· Must have own transport and valid driver’s license· Must be able to work shifts, weekends, overtime and Public Holidays when required All interested individuals must submit their application, CV and proof of their qualifications to Annaline Stevenson, by email to annaline@bidvestlaundry.co.za before end of business on 12 June 2025 Should you apply and not receive a response within 10 days after the closing date for applications, please consider your application as unsuccessful
