Hands-on Technical SupportAssist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical components integrated with automation systems.Interpret mechanical drawings, exploded diagrams, and part schematics to support customer interventions.Advise customers on preventive maintenance for mechanical subsystems (e.g., lubrication, tensioning, alignment). Liaison with TeamsWork closely with HQ engineers in Italy to escalate complex or recurring mechanical issues.Coordinate with automation support staff and field technicians to provide comprehensive support on multi-disciplinary issues (mechanical + electrical/automation). Drive Systems & Motion TechnologyAssist with basic setup and troubleshooting of servo drives and VFDs as they relate to mechanical motion systems (belt drives, screw drives, cams, etc.).Collaborate with automation experts to resolve motion inconsistencies linked to mechanical backlash, resonance, or mechanical constraints. Software Tools (Support Level)Use diagnostic tools and software such as Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7, WinCC, and Beckhoff TwinCAT to interpret automation behavior related to mechanical faults.Perform basic checks on I/O signals and drive parameters to aid mechanical diagnosis.
