Good day

I am a very experienced, passionate and organized care giver who was comprehensively trained at OASIS Training College in Strand and have Geriatric home care and advanced First Aid, including dementia Care.

I have gained so much post qualification experience of over 7 years counting, working with various patients as carer for Care agencies around Cape Town. I have hands on experience with frail bedridden patients, dementia patients who require special care, patients in various cancer stages, post operated patients who require aiding both in mobility and basic needs, patients with lupus and Parkinson illnesses- including physically disadvantaged patients.

From 2019 to 2025, I have been working under MHR AGENCY - Mediclinic Vergelegen as carer. I nursed various patients who shared not so similar illnesses and included , frail, dementia, stroked and bedridden patients and post operated patients. I performed various duties which included:

Bed changing and performing full wash on patients and grooming needs

Assisting with toileting, bedpan ,Checking and recording vitals like blood sugar, BP and pulse

Making certain that patients take they medication timeously

I was also attached at FAIRCAPE & CARE ON CALL Care Agencies as a care giver and worked with various clients under home care settings. I conducted basic needs from bed changing, performing fullwash, grooming and feeding my patients. There included stroked, frail, dementia patients. I have exp in catheter care management, peg feeding, monitoring patients who uses oxygen machines, delicate caring of quadriplegic patients and experience in proper mobility from bed to wheelchair, monitoring and recording vitals signs and medication management according to strict doctors or family instructions, including activity support.
