Responsibilities:
Manage, Grow and Lead the branch:
Create, improve, and implement processes and systems to ensure the branch runs smoothly and efficiently.Assist sales representatives in maintaining sufficient stock levels in the branch and requesting additional stock.Organise inter-branch transfers (IBT’s) and ensure the transfer of stock from other branches is done in a cost-effective manner.Analyse product sales performance and resolve issues causing slow moving stock.Understand the local market needs, report these needs to the Sales Manager and develop localized sales strategies to meet these needs.Suggest products to go on special to the Sales Manager.Recruit, select and on-board employees for the branch.Manage the leave of the branch’s employees.Check in with branch employees to discuss any work challenges they are facing, and coach and assist them in overcoming their challenges.
Monitor Sales Performance:
Review and report on the item group sales performance to the General Manager.Monitor and issue sales reports.Ensure that the sales department achieves/exceeds sales targets.
Maintain Customer Relationships:
Call and visit the branch’s customer base (on a regular basis) to receive feedback on the customer service received.Resolve customer complaints.
