The beach is grassed with picnic places, braai areas and a freshwater swimming pool and a public change room. Life Savers are on duty and there are shark nets for protection.
Trafalgar a Blue Flag Beach is continuous with “San Lameer” beach and Marina beach and is a marine nature reserve which is excellent for fishing. The “Wild Coast” Casino is approximately 15 minutes away and has lots of kids water activities at the Wild Waves Water Park. Excellent fishing areas available all along the coast with scuba diving at Shelley Beach and Umkomaas.
