From our location in Simon's Town, we run Scenic Eco-Charters to view the Cape Point (most South Westerly tip of Africa), from the sea. Hundreds and thousands of people visit this beautiful part of our Peninsula each year, but not many get to see it from the sea! Sir Francis Drake described Cape Point as the most beautiful place he had ever visited. During certain months of the year, Dolphins and Whales are also frequently seen during these trips.
These Scenic Eco-Charters also take you to Seal Island in False bay to see the 70 000 Cape Fur Seals that occupy a small island about one mile off the False Bay coastline – Seal Island is also home to many species of sharks, including the Great White Sharks which feature in many of the documentaries produced by National Geographic and BBC. Alternatively, we could go to Cape Point, for amazing views of this rugged tip of the Cape Peninsula, with it's famous double lighthouse arrangement, seabirds, seals, and all other sorts of marine life.
We will also most likely see Penguins and Pelagic Birds, as well as a unique view of the beautiful Cape Peninsula mountains from the vantage of the ocean.
We provide on-board snacks and refreshments, comprehensive guiding, and (on request) a photographer who can help you make amazing memories here in Cape Town. Our modern boat is safe and comfortable, and we have an on-board toilet too.
