-SPORTS MASSAGE TECHNIQUES- Level 1


*Duration- two practical days, 8.30am-12.30pm. -Great for beginners, and massage therapists who wish to enhance their understanding of basic muscle, and joint anatomy.


Principles of Muscle function, and joint mobilization techniques.
 -Progressive techniques- include muscle warm up and stretching for pre, and post sports events.

-Course outline: - Principles of sports anatomy. 
- Pre and post event principles. - Introduction to joint mobilization.


cost R2200. Include: course notes and a certificate.
Requirement; Swedish massage course.

-SPORTS MASSAGE TECHNIQUES- Level 2



*Duration- two practical days, 8.30am-12.30pm.

-Course outline: Principles of Muscle function, and joint mobilization techniques part 2.
-Dynamic and active massage techniques: Designed to aid in muscle recovery, improve the athlete's performance, and prevent injuries. Introduction to Trigger point therapy, and fascia release.


Written assignment required.
The assignment is related to the material covered, and comprises basic muscle anatomy and techniques.
