McLean's Furniture Restoration (@gomcleans!) is an antique and furniture repair and restoration workshop, based in Durban North. We cater to everyone, and are equally happy fixing your rickety old chair as we are restoring granny's 200 year old Bonheur-du-jour. The workshop is run by Clint McLean and Mike Shozi. Together they have over 40 years of experience in the repair and restoration of furniture.
Services offered, include:
- Collection and delivery within KZN
- Design commissions and co-labs
- On-site restoration, refinishing and touch ups
- Paint refinishing, conversions, techniques, and bespoke and original art work.
- Colour matching on all finishes
- Precision repairs (scratches, nicks, stains, gouges and dents)
- Structural repair
- Joint stabilisation
- Veneer repair
- Refinishing, buffing and polishing
- Upholstery, rattan and rimpi repair and replacement
- Leather repair, cleaning and restoration
