TECHNICAL SERVICE MANAGER SOUTHFIELD – CAPE TOWNWeare looking for a happy, cool-headed and capable person to join our team inCape Town. We need a service manager(office based) who will handle all customer calls, arrange work schedules, etc. Candidates with relevant job-relatedexperience will be preferred. Computer literacy is essential, including Word,Outlook and Excel. Pastel experience will be an advantage. Minimum requirementis Matric. Appropriate tertiarytechnikon or university diploma/degree will be advantageous. Own car and SA driver’s license essential.Technicalunderstanding or experience in the Catering Equipment Industry will be anadvantage, along with experience in the hospitality industry. Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans. KeyPerformance Areas include, but are not limited to: Ensuringtechnical staff are managed, daily tasks and worksheets allocated, servicereports effectively managed, routing of work to optimise transport costs,quotations for repairs processed and sent to customers timeously, and thenfollowed up to completion and invoicing.Handlingall customer calls for breakdowns and routing the calls to technicians.CheckingDaily Service Reports and preparing work schedules for the following days andweeks ahead.Ensuringthat all customers are serviced monthly, or as required. Maintainingcompliance with all SLA’s for customers. Maintainingall data bases accurately, including interfacing with Greenform systems, andmaintaining internal backup databases. Managingall technical repair staff vehicle and support requirements.Maintainingaccurate spares control and stock management of all spares and after hoursspares requirements.Interfacingwith branches, management and sales staff. Ensuringall company procedures and policies are followed and providing effectivemanagement of service staff at all times. Candidateswho live in the Southern Suburbs will be at an advantage.
