Our client, a chemical manufacturer seeks to appoint a HazChem Code 14 Driver, with a valid PDP for local Cape Town deliveries. A valid Hazchem or Dangerous Goods Certificate (DGP) is a requirement.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid code 10 drivers’ license with PDP.

· Dangerous goods training and valid certificate will be advantageous.

· 3 Years of verifiable driving experience.

· No accidents in the previous 3 years.

· Be responsible for logbook and roster administration.

· Must be well spoken and well groomed.

· Must have good communication skills and customer service experience.

· Must be able to handle delivery notes and trip sheets accurately

Other Minimum Requirements:

• No criminal record.
• Pass a medical exam with clear drug test.
• Must be a South African citizen.

Responsibilities:

· Comply with all company safety rules, policies and procedures.

Perform Pre-Trip / Post-Trip Inspections.

Provide professional and high-level service to customers.

Organized and Timely submission of all paperwork to office.
