The Ibanez S520EX is an S series solid body electric guitar model, part of the Sabre series, introduced by Ibanez in 2005. It was initially produced in Korea and then later in Indonesia.
THIS S520EX model in Metallic Olive Flat finish was masterfully crafted and produced in KOREA.
The S520EX features a thin, sculpted mahogany body bolted to a maple Wizard II neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and claw scratch inlays only at the twelfth fret. Components include a pair of Ibanez Infinity covered humbucking pickups and a ZR ball-bearing pivot double locking tremolo bridge with a ZPS2 tuning stabilizer.
The S520EX is the second model known by that name after a 2002 model. A special limited version of the S520EX was offered in 2007 as the S07LTD.
The S520EX was discontinued after 2009 in favor of a new series of 24-fret S models.

Route 66 offers classic compression combined with classic overdrive modeled after the sound of the original TS-808 Tubescreamer (JRC4558 chip and all!). These two effects are great on their own and can be combined to complement one another. In fact, Route 66 corrects many common complaints of guitarists concerning the original Tubescreamer - it was lacking sustain and bottom end. Combine the overdrive with the compression to get all the sustain you want. Add the Overdrive Bass Boost and get that big cabinet sound. The Route 66 responds especially well when paired with a good tube amp!

The mahogany body is much flatter than your traditional L es Paul, and the headstock and tuner stylings are most definitely Epiphone! It features a nickel tune-o-matic bridge (as you might find on a L es Paul Standard) twin hot open-coil Epiphone 700T and 650R humbucker pickups, see UPGRADE details at the bottom.
The neck has a 1960s slim taper 'D' profile, which is just as you'd expect on an acoustic, only thinner. The 22 fret, rosewood fretboard, which feels almost just like a Standard Les Paul due to the same 24.75" scale length.
Get a streamlined Epiphone Special at an amazing price! A little smaller and weighing less than many of the Les Paul axes you’ll encounter, the Special II none the less delivers a fat and nasty tone, thanks to its two open-coil humbucker pickups. The Special II features a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fretboard with a 1.68″ nut width, chrome hardware, and volume and tone controls. This is the go-to guitar for those who want to learn on a Les Paul style quitar but don’t want to break the bank.
