NO SOLDERING required and NO NEED TO OPEN up your pedal. Simply remove the existing LEDs by gently pulling them out from the sliders using either your finger tips, tweezers or small nose pliers. Using a side cutter, cut the legs of the new LEDs to the same length as your existing ones. Insert the new LEDs by carefully pressing them into the sliders. Note the orientation as you remove the stock LEDs so as to insert the new ones in exactly the same way.

In fact, Route 66 corrects many common complaints of guitarists concerning the original Tube screamer, it was lacking sustain and bottom end. Combine the overdrive with the compression to get all the sustain you want. Add the Overdrive Bass Boost and get that big cabinet sound.
