A dynamic and growing food processing company dedicated to providing high-quality, nutritious products and is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, friendliness, and compliance, is looking for a motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee overall operations. The ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a proven track record in management practices, leadership, and business development
Minimum Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with reliable transport
Graduate qualification in finance, business administration, or a related field
Proven track record in general management with at least 5 years of experience in a senior management role
Experience in the food processing industry is advantageous
Strong understanding of financial management, operations, and sales and marketing
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Passion for the company's mission and values
Results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Business acumen with knowledge of financial, technical, and economic concepts
A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
This includes identifying new opportunities, setting goals, and ensuring alignment with the company’s mission
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve organizational goals.
Ensure continuous development and support for team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment
Financial Management:
Oversee the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Ensure financial targets are met, and implement measures for improving profitability
Operational Excellence:
Ensure efficient and effective operations across all departments, streamlining processes and promoting continuous improvement to enhance productivity and service quality
Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and other external partners.
Represent the company at industry events and foster long-term partnerships
