Textile Company based at Springfield Park, is looking for an experienced

Fabric Sales Consultant to join their team.

Candidate must have experience in the textile industry.


DUTIES:

  • Establish and maintain long term relationship with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Liaise with customers telephonically and via email regarding new orders, outstanding orders and stock availability.
  • Provide excellent customer service and accurate information regarding the product.
  • Preparation of quotations and pr-forma invoices.
  • Processing orders for account customers and COD customers.
  • Ensuring account customer has sufficient credit available for their orders.
  • Ensuring full payment has been received for COD customer prior to placing orders.
  • Processing delivery notes.
  • Follow up with customers who haven't purchased in a while.
  • Ad hoc admin.
  • Assist with annual stock take.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Directors.


    • SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

    - Approximately 2 years’ experience.

    Be computer literate and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

    - Extensive knowledge of a variety of mass market fabric for the market.

    - Extremely organised and detail orientated.

    - Strong interpersonal skills.

    - Team player willing to do what's needed to accomplish multiple tasks.

    - Textile experience required.
