Description
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational needs of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facility management, including building maintenance, vendor management, safety compliance, and team leadership. The Facilities Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facilities, contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, policies, and standards to ensure the proper functioning of facilities and equipment.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems, including, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues, safety hazards, and compliance requirements.
- Manage facility budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees and visitors.
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in facility management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in facility management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including facility management software.
- Certification in facility management (e.g., CFM) is a plus.
- Fully computer literate (MS Office)
