Description

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational needs of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facility management, including building maintenance, vendor management, safety compliance, and team leadership. The Facilities Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facilities, contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, policies, and standards to ensure the proper functioning of facilities and equipment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems, including, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues, safety hazards, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage facility budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of employees and visitors.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in facility management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in facility management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including facility management software.
  • Certification in facility management (e.g., CFM) is a plus.
  • Fully computer literate (MS Office)
