Large Manufacturing Company based in Cape Town is looking to employ a Senior Buyer for their procurement department. You will lead a team responsible for procuring materials, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery at the correct specifications and cost.
Key responsibilities include order management, supplier liaison, and forecast evaluation to support production demands. Youâ??ll monitor import shipments, uphold supplier agreements, and maintain ERP data accuracy.
This role requires strong supplier relationship management, performance evaluation, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless procurement and production support.
 
Requirements:
Diploma in Purchasing or Supply Chain
5 yearsâ?? experience in Buying in a manufacturing environment
Experience with international buying will be beneficial
Hands-on knowledge and skills on MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Working knowledge on SYSPRO would be advantageous
