Cold Store Manager

Cold Storage Manger required for a large food manufacturing company based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a position managing a cold store
• Day/Night shifts with staff about 15-25
• Loading of 5 - 10 trucks per shift
• Experience in the meat industry advantageous
• Must have good management skills, problem & crisis solving skills
• Valid drivers license and own transport essential
• Must be prepared to move to Queenstown
• Must be a hard worker and put in extra time if needed.
• Must be able to work in cold environment with protective gear (Provided)
• English Essential, Afrikaans and Xhosa advantageous
• Experience with stock control and rotation
• Must be neat and tidy by nature. Ensure all chillers and freezers are kept in a decent manner
• Good paperwork skills, filling ,collecting and checking of POD's, paperwork for returns and handling thereof
• Must have skill set to legally maximize loads going out
• Able to manage over 25 staff
