The primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, contributing to the growth and success of the company.The secondary responsibility will be to raise the company's profile - events, social media. Qualifications:Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Marketing or relatedProven working experience in business development - targets and revenue growthA strong understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards, in RSA and the rest of Africa - will be to your advantage but not a deal breaker - attitude and mindset to learn more importantStrong relationship-building and networking skills - ability to establish rapport with clients and partners at all levelsValid driver's license and willingness to travel as requiredExcellent Computer literacy - data managementDuties:Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the environmental sector, both in RSA and across the bordersAssist unit managers and key account managers with heightening market awareness of the company to grow existing clientsConduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for current and future marketsDevelop and implement effective business development strategies and plansSupport development of company website and social mediaBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clientsPrepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients in collaboration with unit managers and key account managers in line with company strategyAlong with the CEO, negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for all partiesPromote the company to prospective employees by heightening awareness of the company profile to attract talent, through effective digital media marketing campaignsCollaborate with unit managers, geographic offices and key account managers to ensure the correct expertise is applied to meet client requirementsPrepare regular reports on business development activities and performance, with recommendations for improvementAttend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to promote the companyProvide input and support for strategic planning and business development initiativesIf you are an experienced Business Developer that is self-motivated, enjoy being part of a very dynamic organisation and team, then we would like to hear from you.
