To mainly collect outstanding debt in line with current receivables policies and procedure but also to recognize revenue, and to reduce unallocated deposits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Debtors
Generate invoices relating to allocated debtor accounts.Receipt of deposits by allocated debtors.Submit debit/credit notes and refund applications.Ensure timeous collection of debtors.
Unallocated Deposits
Follow up on unallocated deposits daily with a view to reducing receivables.Control import and flow of unallocated deposits on Saltlake and relevant accountsReconcile unallocated deposit GL and sub-ledger accounts and listingLiaise with Bank to trace depositors
Credit Control Environment (Reconciliation)
Reconcile allocated debtor accounts monthly.Follow up on outstanding accounts and initiate debt collection enforcement of outstanding amounts older than 30 days.Comply with the provisions of the relevant policies and procedures.
Client Interaction
Project a satisfactory image of the CAA in dealing with mailed, telephonic or personal interactions.Ensure that internal and external service standards are met.

National Diploma or NQF level 6 qualification related to Finance or Financial management
Ideal Qualification Degree in accounting

Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems and platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of data and analytics strategy. Lead projects related to digital marketing, driving insights and analysis of channel strategy and performance and effectively communicate finding all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives).
Stakeholder Engagement
Develop stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these to support the communication of business information and decisions. Work closely with senior data analysts (MI) in establishing reporting goals anddata visualisation strategies. Work with Analytics Manager to define the reporting needs of the business and guarantee the high data-quality and reliability of metrics. Build strong relationships with marketers and cross-functional partners to provide strategic advice on channel expansion, optimisation, and business growth. Gain insights from analysing the data and have a point of view on best practice and communicate them both to the marketing team and senior management.
