Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Food Technology, BComm, or an equivalent business-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales preferably in FMCG/ Commercial.
  • Experience in managing key accounts essential.
  • Drivers licence and travel is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan sales call schedules to ensure a value-added approach.
  • Learn and apply client classifications.
  • Build market share, drive and achieve volumes across all categories.
  • Build on and research product and industry knowledge.
  • Work on promotional activity as per standards.
  • Build solid long standing client relationships and ensure customer excellence.
  • Proactively look for new business and explore opportunities in the market.
  • Provide information on market trends as required.
  • Sales administration and preparing sales reports.
  • Ensure deliveries are carried out to company standards.
  • Develop new relationships through field visits.
  • Develop agreements for factory accounts.
  • Review customer accounts monthly to identify and solve queries and outstanding matters.
