Electrician/Compliance Officer

We are seeking a skilled Electrician/Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our solar installation team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of electrical components in PV solar systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Issuing Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for electrical installations.

· Drafting Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).

· Valid Wireman's license is essential.

· Experience in COC work.

· Submission for SSEG (Small-Scale Embedded Generation) and council approvals.

· Issuing compliance certificates for the company in Cape Town and Gauteng.

· Green card (advantageous).

· Computer literate

Requirements:

· Grade 12/N4 certificate in Electrical Installations or equivalent (Trade Tested Electrician).

· Wireman's License.

· Qualified to issue COCs.

· Registration Certificate with the Electrical Contracting Board of South Africa (E.C.B).

· ESETA letter confirming completion of unit standards and certification.

· Valid driver's license.

· 1 years of experience in electrical installations.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Strong technical skills.

· Systems-oriented.

· Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English).

· Organized, accurate, and thorough.

· Problem-solving skills.

· High sense of responsibility and ownership.

Computer Literate and can work a smart phone.

· Ability to work well under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
