Our company is expanding and we are looking for a Code 14 Long Distance Truck Driver. The following are the minimum requirements:- Valid Code 14 Drivers License with PDP- Min 3 years Long distance experience with a superlink- Tautliner experience will be an advantage- Contactable Reference from previous employer- Must reside in or around Cape Town The duties for this position will include, but is not limited to:- Long distance driving all over South Africa as well as cross border from time to time- Maintaining the truck in a good and clean condition- Doing paperwork for each load correctly - Meeting set trip deadlines- Meeting strict fuel consumption requirements Please note that this is a long distance position and you will be required to be away from home for an undetermined amount of time. We are a small company and everyone work together as a family and help each other. To be able to fit in with this family it will be required from the successful candidate to follow strict guidelines with regards to our operations, truck driving skills and diesel consumption. We offer a basic salary with commission per km which is based on a sliding scale determined by the above mentioned guidelines.
