Role Description

As a Technician at Mercury Integrations, you will play a vital role in ensuring our security solutions' installation, maintenance, and support. You will work directly with clients, providing hands-on technical expertise for installing CCTV and access control systems. You will also troubleshoot issues and repair systems and ensure the highest level of functionality and client satisfaction. This position requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, all while adhering to industry standards and company policies. Your role will involve traveling to client sites and collaborating with the wider team to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV and access control systems at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and repair security equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Accurately document service and installation activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with CCTV and access control systems.
• Strong understanding of security technology and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to different client sites as needed.
• Be familiar with the following access control systems: Dahua, ZK Teko, Ajax, Ubiquiti, etc.

Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in security technology and electronics.
• Experience with IP-based systems and network configurations.
