Another appreciating South African special being offered up for sale, the infamous Cortina XR6 TF – Team Ford. With only 500 built, it makes this a special vehicle sought after by many, as all other limited production cars are, especially the South African versions.

The example we have up for sale appears to be in fair condition inside and out.

Minor rust repair is required on the lhs floor pan and there are some rust bubbles on the body that will need attention.

Sadly, the front spoiler, spot lights, head rests and boot spoiler has been stolen whilst at a mechanic.

The interior is in fair condition. Seats and dashboard are all intact.

Mechanical condition as per the previous owner is that the vehicle was in running order upon handing over to mechanic. The vehicle has been standing for around three years.

Motor does turn.

Radiator and minor wiring work required.

Vehicle is sold with 18” rims/tyres as per pics.

All tags, including the “SPECIAL VALUE” in place and corresponding with paper work.

Paperwork is on hand and currently dealer stocked.

This is ideally suited to an individual who will return to as close to original as possible.

The sale price current is minimal given the return on investment post restoration.
