We are looking for an artistic, creative person to join our growing team at Good Shepherd Toys.
The ideal candidate can show us his/her works of (fine) art and/or craft, as being artistic is required for the available function.
We manufacture and sell wooden toys and collectable figures. You will be joining our small but growing workshop team, and work alongside them in all aspects of manufacturing our toys, with a strong focus on woodworking.
This position is best suited to a young person as it is an entry level position. You will be trained on the job and we don’t require any specific qualifications; but creative and artistic ability is a must. We speak English in the workshop, so speaking English well is also a requirement.
You will be trained to do basic woodworking (using scroll-saws, jigsaws and sanding machines), and also to paint our wooden figures. It is not necessary to have prior woodworking experience, as you will be trained on the job; but any skills in this line would count in your favour. We are looking for someone reliable and enthusiastic, who loves working with their hands and making beautiful things.
