JOB OVERVIEW
Implementation and management of maintenance system
Responsible for preventative maintenance tasks, weekly, monthly,
annually
Ensure that machines can achieve operational efficiency as
determined by managing director
Uphold safety and housekeeping standards in line with OHSA
and ensure compliance with all ISO system requirements.
Fault finding during production and breakdowns
Responsible for maintenance budget planning and controlling
maintenance expenses
Responsible for managing spare parts levels
Experience with pumps, drives, motors, chillers, blowers
Must be able to read pneumatic and electrical drawing to assist
with fault finding
Must be able to use tig welding on stainless steel
Familiar with preventative maintenance practices and maintenance
planning as well as budgeting
Familiar with root cause analysis methods
Willingness to work overtime as required
Attend to breakdowns and call outs as required
Assist with installation and commissioning of new machines
and/or equipment
Team player
Proactive systematic approach to tasks
Good communication skills - written and verbal
Good numeracy skills and computer literacy
Valid Code B driver's licence
