Bookkeeper / Office Administrator Northgate Business Park Milnerton Cape Town
Our Client in Northgate Business Park Milnerton Cape Town is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Office Administrator All-rounder with 4-5 years of experience. You need experience in Full Bookkeeping to Trial Balance (Processing & Invoicing on QuickBooks), Debtors, creditors, recons, journals, payroll (20 staff) suppliers, quotes, reporting, and other admin record-keeping duties.
YOU MUST HAVE QUICKBOOKS EXPERIENCE TO BE CONTACTED…NON NEGOTIABLE UNFORTUNATELY
Salary Up to R 25000 MAX for the right candidate with solid Bookkeeping and Office Admin experience
Min Requirements
Matric
A bookkeeping Certificate a bonus
4-5 years PLUS of SOLID Bookkeeping, payroll (20 staff), SARS efling, quotes, creditors, and debtors experience
General Office Administration and recordkeeping
Office Management & Co-ordination a real plus beneficial but not a must
Experience in assisting with a small payroll of 20 staff (all permanent)
Experience in dealing with outsourced accounting firms
QuickBooks and Excel experience essential
SARS efling experience with returns and some submissions EMP’s, PAYE, and VAT
VAT calculation and submission experience
Experience with imports and basic PA experience a bonus
Job Duties
Bookkeeping to TB / Processing of Invoices – QuickBooks
Financial & Office Administration
Capturing invoices(customers and suppliers)
Full Debtors and Creditors control
Bank reconciliations & Petty Cash & Daily
Liaise with suppliers and customers
Assist with General Office Admin like filing, recordkeeping
Assist with Supplier Onboarding paperwork and authorizations
Loading of Supplier invoices for payment release
Assist with Inventory / Stock Control
Assist with Sales reports and Administration
Assist with ordering stock local and international
Assist with product imports
Book appointments and projects for owner
Update / Recordkeeping of Safety files during projects (Health & Safety) – training to be supplied
Assist with adhoc office duties

draft worx – compilation of annual financial statements similar to caseware
communication with clients
management of s a r s e filing profiles and preparation of income tax and other tax returns
provisional tax
general instructions working on s a r s e filing profile for clients on queries and other s a r s issues including administration issues
monthly p a y e, v a t, and other statutory returns
analysing data, providing insight, scenario analysis, reporting, budget and forecasting
preferred requirements:
attention to detail
exposure to excel, word, microsoft teams, pastel and s a r s e filing for public benefit organisations
communication skills and interactions with clients and staff in a professional manner
degree or diploma in accounting tax with relevant work experience advantageous but not essential
