Description: We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store
Manager.
Location: Diep River, Southern
Suburbs, Cape Town.
Description
of duties and responsibilities:
Assisting the
Store Manager with the following:
·
Admin
of +/- 14 staff, Management of Staff, input on appraisals and Staff Training, Roster
control.
·
Manage
in store promotions to be communicated to and implemented by staff.
·
Monitor
correct capturing and check that queries are followed up on.
·
Ordering
of stock and checking that staff advise on stock levels on a regular basis to
ensure correct ordering and a sufficient supply of products to sell.
·
Ensure
there is regulating and monitoring of expiry dates of stock.
·
Assisting
Human Resources with staff and other relevant admin as and when required
·
Required
to assist/be available during the store’s stock-taking exercise (at least once
a year)
·
Ensure
all you and all store staff adhere to the set standards and all the standard
operating procedures.
·
All
other relevant duties as communicated to you by management.
·
Ensure
store growth in turnover.
·
Customer
friendliness (greeting, helping, etc), Enthusiasm, Punctuality, Productivity,
Team Player
Requirements:
Experience of
working in a Pet Retail Store. Previous managerial experience (in Pet Retail) will be an advantage.
Grade 12
Certificate
Own reliable
transport
Accuracy and
critical attention to detail in all duties performed.
