Little Miss Sunshine - A comedy-drama that follows a family determined to get their young daughter into the finals of a beauty pageant take a cross-country trip in their Volkswagen bus. Of course, the roadtrip is not as straightforward as it seems with many moments that pop up along the journey. It can be rented for as little as R35 on Google Play movies.
Lion - The Australian biographical drama follow titular character Saroo gets separated from his family at the age of five and ends up being adopted by an Australian couple. However, 25 years later, he returns to India to search for his birth parents. It can be purchased for as little as R150 on Google Play movies.
Instant Family - The movie centres around a married couple, Pete and Ellie Wagner (Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne) who decide to adopt Lizzy, a teenager. However, their life is turned upside down when they realise Lizzy has two more siblings. Cue the drama and whacky moments. The movie is available to stream on Netflix.
