If you've been living under a rock, there are the signs that it's Christmas time

The year is less than a month away from coming to an end and that also means that Christmas is a couple of weeks away. Even though the vast majority of people are already in the Christmas spirit, some just treat it as a normal month and carry on as normal.

This year has been long, incredibly tough, and everyone’s pretty tired so a break is the perfect remedy to the situation

In other countries, the falling of snow is usually a sign that Christmas is near, but for that those that do not get any snow, there are a couple of tell-tale signs to let you know Santa Claus is coming to town.

Decorations

Shops will be filling their windows with Christmas decorations and the traditional green wreath. The employees might even be wearing the Santa Claus hat too.

Festive tunes

Instead of the usual artists playing, Christmas songs will surely be on repeat. Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas' and Michael Bublé's Christmas album are some of the popular tunes that play.

Food

Different types of dishes are prepared when Christmas comes around. In addition to chicken and meat, corned tongue gammon and trifle pudding come to the fore. These are not everyday treats and are only brought out on special occassions.
