Security Supervisor needed in Pinetown area

CIS Security is seeking a Grade B Security Supervisor who can work

day/night shifts independently around Pinetown/Durban surrounding

area

Job Type: Full-time

Must have the ability to commute/relocate:

Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

Security Supervisor: 4 years (Required)

CIS Security requirements:

· Must have Security Supervisor experience

· Have strong verbal and written communication skills

· Must be PSIRA Accredited

· Valid Driver’s license

· Have the ability to work independently and with a team

· Be observant and detail-oriented

· Must have sober habits and be well presented (neat and tidy)

· Must have knowledge of general security policy and procedures

· Must portray the ability to resolve conflicts

Duties:

· Visit sites and supervise security guards

· Learn their place of employment

· Maintain daily records (very important)

· Conduct patrols

· Assist the security manager and incident reporting

· Lead emergency response drills

· Conduct inspections for physical and safety hazards

· Monitor alarm systems and other security equipment

· Assist employees and visitors during an emergency

· Escort individuals from the premises when necessary

· Resolve conflicts following the company's protocol

· Answer and conduct phone calls in a courteous manner.
