Pastry Chef – Pies & Quiches

Location: Rondebosh East

We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef specializing in pies and quiches to join our kitchen team. If you have hands-on kitchen experience in creating savory pies and quiches, this is the opportunity for you!

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience with a strong focus on pastry, particularly pies and quiches

Expertise in dough preparation, fillings and baking techniques for savory pastries

Ability to produce high-quality, flavorful pies and quiches consistently

Strong attention to detail and presentation

Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen

Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills


Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of pies and quiches from scratch, including dough and fillings

Ensure consistent quality and flavor in every product line

Maintain a clean and organized work station

Follow kitchen safety and hygiene standards at all times

Collaborate with the kitchen team
