Job Overview: As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing friendly and efficient customer service. You will also have the opportunity to learn about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment with precision and care.
• Take customer orders in person
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the café, including the service counter, seating area, and restroom.
• Stock and replenish supplies as needed, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of our products.
• Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to every customer, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and busy periods.
• Continuously strive to improve your coffee-making skills and knowledge of our products to deliver the best possible experience to our customers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred, but not required.
• Passion for coffee and a desire to learn and grow in the coffee industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
