Description
Our client is seeking a well seasoned Production Foreman to join their busy plastics manufacturing business in Pinetown, Durban.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the management and productivity of the production team in the production of plastic products using injection molding machinery. The production foreman must ensure the total production function of the molding facility and ensure it runs at 85% or higher efficiency while keeping rejects below 3%. Strong focus will be put on monitoring employee productivity, performance, and discipline.
Minimum Requirements:
* Matric
* Relevant tertiary qualification
* Minimum 6 years of experience in the same similar role
* Injection moulding experience is necessary.
* Must have knowledge of raw materials.
* Must be technically minded.
* Experienced with ISO Standards is necessary.
* Must have solid people management skills.
* Strong reporting skills are vital.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R30 000,00 - R38 000,00 per month.
