POSITION: ARCHITECTURAL DRAUGTHSMAN

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draughtsman to join our clients team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in draughting office experience, council submissions, and stakeholder consultation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential, and experience in construction and project management is advantageous.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and have a driven work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit plans to council for approval
- Consult with relevant stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed drawings and designs
- Collaborate with the team to ensure project deliverables are met
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Architectural Draughting or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of draughting office experience
- Proven experience with council submissions and stakeholder consultation
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Valid driver's license
- Own car (advantageous)
- Own software and workstation (advantageous)
- Portfolio of previous work required
- Ability to work independently with a driven work ethic

Advantageous:

- Experience in construction and project management
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
